Driver CPC Periodic and Modular training courses are available through our RHA approved instructors.
Under new EU rules, all LGV & PCV Drivers need to hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC). This is obtained by completing a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) course in addition to their driving licence.
New drivers need to take a test to receive their initial CPC. It then needs to be renewed every 5 years by attending a compulsory 35-hour training course.
Holders of Vocational Licences who passed a bus/ coach licence before 10th September 2008, or Lorry Drivers before 10th September 2009 have 5 years to gain their CPC. They need to complete their 35 hours training by the deadline and renew their Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
